This Geneology is based upon the history of the Grand Family in Canada.Your assistance in building this story is invaluable. Consider this a work in progress. As you send me pictures and stories via email they will be added to the site to flesh out the storyline.

The credit for the stories goes to the authors especially my Father Ambrose for the time he spent on these memoirs and the insight it gives his children grandchildren and relatives into a different time and place. This website is dedicated to him.
I hope reading the stories and seeing the pictures will evoke memories from you so that this story can grow in all directions.

Practical Tips
- Click on either the picture or the name in the left hand column for a biography on that person. If you click on the family chart, a pictoral representation of every member of that family is available.
- We need your services as editors and proof readers. If you find anything written about a family member is inappropriate, if you pick out spelling mistakes, please let us know.
- If you've got a picture you'd like to be added to the site send it in as a JPEG or an actual picture. Any pictures sent by mail should include a self addressed and stamped return envelope.
- An anecdote can be as compelling as a long story. One picture can tell a thousand words. We still welcome essays and collections of photos, but we all have busy lives, sometimes less is more.
- We're looking for help from everyone. Kids can help too. Encourage your children to submit memories of relatives or moments in their lives.
